Kiom Products

Each Kiom product has special characteristics, common to the entire production.
These characteristics make them exclusive components.
Here some of the special features.
The first: every component was developed starting from a well defined idea of sound.
The sound of live music. Nothing else.
All these creations came from an original design by Luca Chiomenti: no copy or replica of old designs, but
new and specific design with no compromise at all.
Each component is carefully hand crafted in any part and one by one: no series production at Kiom, sorry.
The products are the result of the art of skilled craftsmen. All products are built from the hands of Luca Chiomenti himself, with some help for secondary aspects. This is the reason why the components are manufactured on an order basis only.
Another special feature is the use of exclusive components; these components are extreme carefully designed
and hand crafted internally (i.e. the transformers).
We can describe the result using two key-words: balance and harmony.

Kiom products can be divided in: electronics, the preamplifiers (line preamplifiers and phono preamplifiers),
the power amplifiers and the integrated amplifiers; then the high efficiency loudspeakers and the accessories too.
We added to this page the custom products, to give examples of products custom designed to satisfy special requirements.

Availability and orders

Each compoennt is a hand made unique piece. This takes a long time, as anyone can easly imagine.
Each piece is manufactured on request, so it is very hard that a product is immediately available.
When customer places an order, we give a probable delivery time range (except for custom products), due to orders in execution. We do all our best to respect the scheduling, but time indicated is absolutely approximate and it is not constraining, because some unexpected event may occour in the building process, generating unwanted delay.
